Repeating Jikiden Reiki training courses Birmingham

Repeating Jikiden Reiki® Training Courses

As I have said more than once, attending Reiki training courses is the starting point of any study of Reiki. Japanese Reiki traditional places a big focus on practice and deepening your understanding of Reiki in person with your Reiki teacher. One option available to those who have taken Jikiden Reiki training courses is the ability to repeat your Shoden and Okuden training courses at a fraction of the price. Current fees in the UK for repeating Jikiden Reiki Shoden and Okuden are only £150 for the full 3 days of training! That’s receiving Reiju 5 times, going through all the training content of Shoden and Okuden, practicing Reiki treatment, and receiving Reiki. You simply join a course along with those who are learning for the first time.

I recently renewed my Shoden and Okuden training and can honestly say that I got so much more the second time around! The first time was great, but now it all makes so much more sense. The learning felt deep and I am feeling much more confident. Shaun is so helpful and his teaching style is clear, unhurried, and friendly.

The UK pricing is set by the Jikiden Reiki Institute in Japan, which all UK Jikiden Reiki teachers agree to charge. Many find this option helpful. I generally say to students to do their first repeat with the teacher who first taught them if possible. Then looking to other Jikdien Reiki teachers can be a good idea to help provide breadth and depth to your study of Reiki. We all teach the same thing, however, we all have differing interests, focus, experiences, and delivery styles, which can help round your training nicely. Note: The option of repeating Jikiden Reiki training is only open to Jikiden Reiki-trained students. If you have not taken Jikiden Reiki training, you can find out more about courses here

I would highly recommend the reiki refresher training with Shaun. It’s a contradiction really. I thought it would be like pressing a refresh button of the original training (which I completed 2 years ago) but whilst familiar, the training went deeper, broader, and expanded out in unexpected ways. It takes you into a much deeper understanding of Shoden and Okuden Reiki training, I’m so pleased I repeated.

I tend to suggest 1 year is a nice time frame to do your first repeat. Many do 1-2 years after first learning. After that a couple of years gap works well for another, then see what you want to do from there. For those going straight into professional Reiki practice, I might suggest repeating a bit sooner after first learning. I usually have one place per training course for someone repeating, sometimes two. Priority goes to my own students on a first come basis. I have written an article on the benefits of repeating your Reiki training, see my article: When repeating your Reiki training might be a good idea.

Have just completed my Shoden/Okuden Reiki training with Shaun, I first did my training a few years ago with a different teacher, I thoroughly enjoyed it then and equally enjoyed it this time. Shaun has a way of breaking down and simplifying all areas of the course repeating definitely deepens and enhances your knowledge and experience. I feel much more confident now and intend to repeat again in the future.

I got so much out of taking my Jikiden Reiki training a second time, it was so beneficial and I now have more confidence with it.
